The photo, performance, light and video artist Freya Hattenberger deals in her works with the representation of physicality and behaviour, analyses the relationship between body, action and space. Her images encourage us to pause, are a vehicle for moments of self-reflection. Aspects of the conditio humana are also taken up in her light objects and combined with typography. Freya Hattenberger deals intensively with the medium of light. Physiologically, it is the basis for seeing images and all associated media processes.
